The Basics


The most important part about eating and cooking is being sure that you’re eating “real” food. It seems like everyone is always confused when you say paleo, but really it’s simple. All natural, non-processed foods. This leaves you endless possibilities. It’s hard to stick to this all natural rule 100% when you are working 40 hours a week, so just try to be smart in buying your ingredients. You may be able to easily handle buying meats, veggies, nuts, etc….but being able to whip up your own mojo marinade or BBQ sauce may be way too time consuming. If you go with store-bought marinades or sauces, look at the ingredients and try to buy products that don’t contain high fructose corn syrup, added sugars, or anything you can’t pronounce for that matter. Replace breads with lettuce wraps, pasta with veggies, and rice with sweet potatoes. Get creative!

Also, if you love pasta like I do….get this spiralizer machine and put your veggies thru it…you’ll never eat pasta again!
